Squadron Debrief is a Windows desktop companion app for flight simmers flying DCS World and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

It connects to your simulator in real time, automatically logs your flights, records a full Digital Flight Recorder trace of every sortie, and gives you a complete operations database to manage aircraft, checklists, avionics notes, references, and more — all stored locally on your PC. No account. No subscription. No cloud.

Digital Flight Recorder + Live Telemetry

The moment you lift off, Squadron Debrief begins recording.

Every sortie captures a continuous flight trace that can be replayed after landing:

• Scrub through your full flight path on a zoomable map

• Jump instantly to auto-detected events (takeoff, touchdown, weapon release, stall warning)

• Review altitude, airspeed, vertical speed, and attitude across synchronized graphs

• Automatically log each flight into your pilot logbook with aircraft, duration, and distance

In addition to post-flight replay, Squadron Debrief now streams live telemetry while you fly.

View real-time:

• Altitude, IAS, ground speed, heading

• Vertical speed and attitude

• Engine telemetry (RPM / N1-N2 / fuel data)

• Aircraft configuration (gear, flaps, trim, spoilers)

• Pilot control inputs (pitch, roll, yaw, throttle, brakes)

Telemetry is sampled at a performance-safe rate to ensure minimal impact on simulator performance.

Companion Mode (Tablet / Phone Support)

Companion Mode allows you to stream live flight data and checklists to a tablet or phone with no secondary installation required.

Simply open Settings, scan the built-in QR code, and instantly access your live companion surface from any device connected to the same local network.
